I’m talking about cursive hand writing. When I was a kid eons ago it was emphasized. School papers had to be written in it. I used it all the time, it was quicker. I now use a cursive/print combo when I’m in a hurry. But on the rare occasions that I hand write a letter or card, it’s still cursive. I guess this just goes to show how old I am. I asked several kids of various ages about it and their answer was the same. “We haven’t done that since 3rd grade”. Most of these kids don’t even know how to sign their name! I had to show both of my kids how to sign their name. They simply forgot since they haven’t had to. No different than all that algebra I forgot because it haven’t had to use it (and I’m glad for that!).
I realize that keyboarding is now more important than cursive writing is. Times have changed. I guess I’ll just have to remember to print notes to my kids, or maybe I should just text them.
I know this is a pointless post. Sorry about that.
I watched AGENDA: Grinding America Down this evening. It’s worth a watch. It shows how this liberal/progressive/socialist/Marxist/communist path that we are on has been going on since the 1930’s. I don’t completely agree with everything in it, but it makes some solid connections as to who is running the show. It gives some insight into how they have been doing it all these years. It explains how things like climate change fears and environmentalism are part of their plan. They are using our money, resources and even our own children to destroy the way our way of life. Watch it for yourself and be the judge.
